Dr. Bernard Fialkoff is a renowned leader in the field of Periodontics, Dental Implants and Dentistry as well as in the overall public health and non-profit fields. Although his excellent bedside manner, expertise and personality have made him a local staple in his Queens community, he reaches people far beyond his borough. Dr. Fialkoff has made it his mission to improve the overall wellness throughout the globe and work tirelessly as an ambassador of education and public health. He recently sat at a round-table meeting held by the United Nations, where drug education, among other notable topics, were discussed in great detail.
Focusing On Helping Youth
Dr. Fialkoff attends many conferences and participates in a variety of meetings through his role as the Founding Sponsor and President of the Foundation for a Drug Free World of The Americas. This is an organization which works worldwide to eliminate and prevent substance abuse. International leaders from a variety of backgrounds and organizations work together to reach communities to correct and handle these issues, and to educate and empower young people on the harmful effects of illicit drug use. Outside of conferences, these leaders also travel abroad to address these same issues in a multitude of countries.
Education First
Although Dr. Fialkoff has certainly touched the hearts of many simply by having them as patients in his Bayside practice, he has reached tens of thousands of individuals worldwide as well. He works with the Drug Free World program to identify regions which are struggling with drug abuse. He then sets aside time to travel and meet people who need assistance in handling these issues, just as he would do with his own patients.
In New York City, we have access to some of the best healthcare in the nation and even in the world.
