Dr. Fialkoff received an acknowledgement letter from the National Council on Drugs of the Dominican Republic. Dr. Fialkoff is the President of the Foundation for a Drug Free World of The Americas and visited the Dominican Republic last month on an educational mission. He trained 50 drug counselors on the foundation's drug education curriculum, donated about 50 sets of the curriculum for use throughout the nation, signed an agreement with the government for national implementation of the program, conducted a drug education event for 200 middle school students at a local school and spoke on a TV show that aired in the Dominican Republic & NYC to promote the drug education program.
