The Queens County Dental Society featured Dr. Bernard Fialkoff in their summer journal newsletter. Dr. Bernard Fialkoff is the Founding Sponsor and President of the Foundation for a Drug Free World of The Americas Chapter and most recently sponsored and hosted the 11th Annual Drug Free Heroes Awards Gala held at The Village Club of Lake Success in Great Neck, NY. The gala featured keynote speakers: Kevin Mannion, FBI Community Affairs Director for New York, Award Winning Actress Erika Christensen, NYPD School Safety Division Director Louise Johnson, Bobby Hunter, Retired Harlem Globetrotter and The Honorable Timothy Tapia from the NYC Public Advocate Letitia James’ office. Dr. Fialkoff awarded about 15 new Drug Free Hero Awardees for their extensive work in drug education, prevention and / or awareness and for overall community engagement including Miss New York 2017, numerous NYPD officials including an Inspector, Detective, Sergeant and Officers, the President of the National School Resource Officers for America, the President of the 40th Precinct Community Council, Executive Director of My Time, Inc., Brooklyn Principal of a NYC High School, and others.
